EN: This Ableton workshop looks at tension and release in music production, with a focus on rhythm, sound and structure rather than harmony. We’ll explore how density, silence, arrangement and mix can be used both to build tension and to release it. We’ll try out a few exercises together, look at how automation can shape a track’s progression, and share some sound design and production tips along the way.
FR: Ce workshop Ableton est consacré à la tension et à la résolution en production musicale, en se concentrant sur le rythme, le son et la structure plutôt que sur l’harmonie. Nous explorerons comment la densité, le silence, l’arrangement et le mix peuvent servir aussi bien à créer de la tension qu’à la relâcher. Nous essaierons quelques exercices ensemble, regarderons comment l’automation peut faire évoluer un morceau, et partagerons quelques astuces de sound design et de production en chemin.
